


First Holy Communion Program

REGISTRATION
Registration is open
July 15th to August 23 On TIME Registration.
August 30th Late Registration with Fee added.
Due to limited space, registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Documents needed at the time of registration as is applicable to your child/children:

Medical Form
It is a diocesan requirement to have these on file for each candidate preparing for First Communion.
TUITION FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION

$10.00 Drop fee on and after August 30, 2025.
CLASS DATES
All English Kinder, Communion and Continuing-formation classes will begin
Sunday, October 20, 2024.

CLASS TIMES
First Communion:
First Year classes: 9:00 am to 11 am. Families are encouraged to attend Mass at their convenience.
Second Year: 9 am to 11am.
All students attend must attend one 5pm Mass per month with their family.
TARDIES
Students need be on time and prepared to participate with his/her book and materials. In case of late arrival, stop by the office before going to class.
CLASS SIZE
All students will be placed accordingly to the level of instruction needed. Class size will be determined by enrollment and grade level. Students will be placed on a roster at the time of registration provided all proper documentation is submitted and tuition is paid in full. Once the class reaches its limit, the class will be closed. Approximate class size = 20
CLASS ATTENDANCE
Children/youth in First Holy Communion sacramental classes will move up with their class provided all requirements for that level have been met. Any absences must be called in by the parent to the office and to your child/youth’s catechist. Make-up work is required. More than 3 unexcused absences will result in being dropped from the program and not completing impending sacraments.
FIRST RECONCILIATION AND
FIRST COMMUNION
Children are required to attend no less than 2 consecutive years of formation from 1st grade through High School. If the 2-year formation period. it is very important that parents be committed and involved in their child’s formation! Parents in 2nd year Communion must attend a “Eucharist Retreat” with their child in the spring of 2026.
PARENT MEETINGS
Parents of children/youth in sacramental classes will be required to attend Sunday adult formation meetings.

11:30am to 1:00 pm (Class Time)

1:30 pm en español. (la familia es bienvenida a sentarse en el área designada para primera comunión)

Las clases es 2 domingo por mes.
